The Quiet Meadow Collection is full of gorgeous florals, and I wanted to use them to create a decorative border for my layout!

To begin the project, I selected a spread in the Quiet Meadow Simple Dori to use as a base for my design. I liked the card from the Quiet Meadow Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit with the kraft and floral border and chose to use it on the left page of my layout. I wanted a contrasting title, so I used a black permanent marker to color the puffy alpha stickers from the Quiet Meadow Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. It's an easy way to make the alpha stickers work for any project! Next, I embellished the border using embossed puffy stickers and enamel dots from the Quiet Meadow Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. The design was already on the paper, so it was easy to add to it. I also included a butterfly rub on and added some stamping with the Quiet Meadow Memory Keeping Stamps.

For the other side of the layout, I trimmed a large tag from the Quiet Meadow Classified: Memory Keeping Kit and created a flip-up with a pocket card from the Quiet Meadow Modern Memory Keeping Kit. I added my photo and included some patterned paper and a vellum heart from the Quiet Meadow Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. I also added a mini staple to the heart for additional texture. Then, I did some stamping below the photo with the stamp from the Quiet Meadow Modern Memory Keeping Kit and included the date with a roller date stamp from my stash.

I printed my journaling on clear matte sticker paper and added it to the pocket card. To complete the page, I used embossed puffy stickers from the Quiet Meadow Modern Memory Keeping Kit and a phrase sticker from the Quiet Meadow Memory Keeping Sticker Kit to embellish the card. I love the way the floral puffy stickers peek out from under the flip! I hope you found some inspiration for making a layout with beautiful borders!
