Jennie McGarvey: Inspired by…Sketches!

I love finding inspiration anywhere - even from the projects others create. I decided that I would scrap lift a project that Christine created with the Daisy Fields Collection. Be warned, I don't think that my layout really looks like Christine's!
Christine created a beautiful traveler's notebook layout that I was so inspired by. Now, I use the Daisy Fields Modern Memory Keeping kit and I decided it was going to be so fun to use this kit to create my layout.
I didn't have the large card for the left side, so I decided that I large photo would be wonderful in its place. I love the way this really casual selfie looks, it's such a great reminder of that evening. Instead of adding an embellishment at the bottom, I decided it should go on the top in the blank space there. Now, I already added a large photo on the left-hand side. So, one of the pocket cards was the answer for the upper right-hand corner. I love this card AND I love how playful it looks there.
This layout turned out similar to Christine's but not the same and I'm quite fond of it. It feels really cozy and I love that.
Veronica Milan: Inspired by…Rub-Ons!
Hello! Sometimes I open this beautiful box filled with gorgeous bright product and immediately feel inspired to document a fun memory. The splashes of painted rub-ons in the Daisy Fields Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit, were amazing and so inspiring! They reminded me of our summer adventures. The kids and I painted, and created tie dyed shirts for the first time ever. Here's how this layout came together: I used a collage of photos on the left side side and stitched an ampersand rub-on onto a label. Next, I included a 3x4" card for journaling and a chipboard piece along with enamel dots for embellishments.
For the right side, I used a puffy heart sticker on the bright fun photo. Then, I framed the photo with these amazing paint rub-ons with enamel dots for dimension.
I used the puffy alpha from the Daisy Fields Collection and Spice Market Collection. Finally I included an arrow rub-on at the bottom. The rub-ons are my absolute favorite. I hope you give them a try and I hope I added some much needed inspiration today!
