Tips for Titles: the Daisy Fields Collection
Hello, friends! We are talking about title tips and today, we are going big! We’re sharing two techniques for using the large alpha sticker for your titles.

Traci Reed: Outline Your Title to Make it Stand Out

[embed]https://youtu.be/_QRORQ2wRu8[/embed]   I LOVE a good, BIG title. That's why I always love when these large die cut letters are included in the¬†Daisy Field Classified: Memory Keeping Kit. For this layout, I knew I wanted to have my title be "Big Facts" at the bottom of my page with these letters. When I put the letters down they were hard to see and didn't really stand out from that busy background. To remedy this, I did two things to make them stand out.   First, I used rub ons from the kit to incorporate the background paper into the foreground by overlapping the flower onto my letters and photos.¬†Second, I didn't feel like that helped my letters stand out as much as I'd liked, so I used a black pen to trace around the letters which served two purposes: it made the letters stand out AND incorporated the foreground into the background by adding that same sketchy vibe that the flowers have!

Carol Weatherspoon: Muted Title for Colorful Photo

Titles are a big part of our layout and what could be better than using big letters for your title? I love the large die cut letters included with theDaisy Field Classified: Memory Keeping Kit! I had a super colorful photo that I wanted to use for this spread and the muted yellow letters worked perfectly to off-set all the color. I added a few puffy sticker embellishments around my title to bring your eye to those words GIRL TRIP! Also, for a sub-title, I used patterned paper card from the¬†Daisy Fields Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit¬†and I just love the fonts used for that beautiful sentiment. Again, your eye immediately goes to the sub-title on the right hand side of the spread. Using what you already have is a great way to get lots of mileage out of your kits and take some of the pressure off of yourself when trying to come up witty or inspirational titles.   What are you favorite tips for terrific titles?¬†Share with us by tagging @cocoa_daisy on social media or posting to the Cocoa Daisy Fan Page.
