Hello, Daisies! Today, I'm going to show you 3 ways to use the striped, week-on-one-page insert in your planner. It's my favorite part of the Cocoa Daisy Planner Kit. Seeing all the pretty colors on...
Hello Cocoa Daisy friends, Our To the Sea collection can be used to document many types of stories that are not related to the beach, ocean, vacation, or summer. In fact, our kits complement one another across time too and bringing various items from past and present kits can provide additional opportunities for creating unique layouts. Today DT member Melina is sharing a special layout that shows how the bold and bright colors and patterned papers of To the Sea and other kits can be collated to tell a story of celebration. Let's take a look. "Sometimes a project needs a culmination of different kits in order to be completed. This layout is one of those projects. I had things I actually kept back from the April kits knowing I had pics of my daughter and her hot pink, frosted donut cake that would need those items." "My pocket page also reminds me that even if you don’t use all the kit ingredients each month, in memory keeping, there will always be time to get around to them! The June and July kits are also represented here as well. I used some die cuts, thin washi and the puffy alphas from this month and the phrase stickers from last month." "Everything still coordinates together so perfectly! You can see how this layout came together by clicking here to view my video." Here are a few more ideas for using To the Sea to document your everyday stories.
- A crabby mood (crab stickers, stamps, tabs, pocket cards, and patterned papers)
- 7 daily stories (see days of the weekday die cut tabs in the pocket kit, rub ons, pocket cards, classified kit)
- A happy or joyful moment (kit papers, pocket cards, phrase stamps, die cuts, classified kit)
- When, where, why (memory Keeping sticker kit, pocket cards, kit papers, tabs, and stamps)
