Plan As I Go with Serengeti Kit

Using Personal Sized Dashboards in my TN
Hello everyone! June is here and so is the beautiful Serengeti kit! It's always so nice to see how everyone sets their planners up using the kits. They always look so unique and I gain different ideas to use each month.
For June, I am using two planners - my PrintPression Weeks and my Webster's Pages Standard TN. My Weeks holds my calendar and daily schedule/to do lists. My TN houses everything else. Today, I'm sharing how I incorporated the Personal Planner Dashboards into my set up.
To start off, here is the cover I made for my PP Weeks. I love using the folded papers that come with the kit. I create a 'bookcover' type cover for the insert and then trimmed the zebra dashboard to fit. I added some of the washi along the side. I love the June 2020 title from another dashboard, so I cut it out and added it with foam adhesive. This adds some nice texture to the cover.
Next up is one of my weekly spreads. I love having tip-ins in order to have more writing space. I trimmed this dashboard and attached it with washi at the top. So, it's more of a 'tip up'. I added the stickers to the front and have plenty of space to write on the back. I love how the cheetah print adds some color and interest to my design.
My Standard TN holds several inserts of different sizes. I have a pocket insert that serves as my bills/budget tracker.  I also get the Personal TN insert each month. Here, I used the flamingo dashboard as the cover. It's the exact size of the booklet, so all I had to do was adhere it to the front. Since I love texture, I hot glued some vintage trim to the bottom. I added a cluster of stickers and enamel dots to the top and finished it off my adhering the Hakuna Matata die cut with foam adhesive. This was such a quick way to create this insert cover.
Another insert in my TN is my Daisy Weeks. I use this one to track social media and projects for my Design Team work. I like to play around using different layout styles. For this one, I devoted the right side of the page to this cute giraffe dashboard. It just needed to be trimmed a bit. I chose to use the giraffe sticky notes as my boxes to write in. I covered the phrase at the top with washi stickers and added small box stickers for my to do list. I love the giraffe theme of this spread.
The final dashboard that I used works perfectly at the back of my planner. I adhered it with washi and it serves as the backdrop for my notepad. I love how it ties everything together.
As you can see, the Personal Dashboards can be used for many things, even if you aren't using them as intended in the rings planner. They are a really versatile addition to the kit. Hope you found some fun new ways of trying them!
