Throw Back Thursday: Holiday Traditions

Throw Back Thursday: Holiday Traditions
Hello, friends!
It's "Throw Back Thursday" and today we are sharing ways to document Holidays Tractions!

Ashley Horton: Throwback Thursday: Traditions!

All families have traditions, whether they are carried over from when you were a child or new traditions you've created for yourself or your family. And, it's always fun to document those yearly traditions!

One of our "new" traditions for our family, is to each pick out a new ornament for the Christmas tree every year. This year, our son picked out a cute Penguin ornament and it just happened to pair perfectly with the Let It Snow Kits! I used a mix of products from the Let Is Snow Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit and Let It Snow Modern Memory Keeping Kit for this TN layout.

I went with a fairly easy design on this layout, and sized my photo to the same size as one of the journaling cards from the Let It Snow Modern Memory Keeping Kit. I used the Blue Puffy Alpha Stickers to create a title for my page and layered them over the journaling card. Then, I added a mix of stickers, washi tape, adhesive die cuts and chipboard pieces around my photo and journaling spot.

I wanted to include journaling on this layout to document the family tradition, so I made the journaling card into a pocket. Once I had it made into a pocket, I was able to create a tag and print out my journaling on clear sticker paper. After I adhered the journaling to the tag, I embellished with some washi and a few stickers.

I hope you've found some inspiration for documenting your favorite holiday traditions!! You can see how my layout came together, by heading over to Instagram and checking out my Instagram Reel.
