Hello, friends! With so many beautiful pattern papers in each collection, we wanted to feature them in today’s post! Here are some ways to use pattern papers in your designs.

Audrey Medd: Build Your Layout with Layers of Paper

Hello Daisies! This month I challenged myself to use as much of the Spice Market Classified: Memory Keeping Kit as I could. And I was successful in this layout! I started with some of the paper from the Spice Market Classified: Memory Keeping Kit. I ripped them in a ripple pattern and then placed them on my blank 12x12 page. By doing this I was able to create a 12x12 page from the kit.   I then dipped into my Spice Market Modern Memory Keeping Kit and found a 3x4 pocket card that went well with my story. I have been trying to use the pocket cards in non-traditional ways. Finally, I ended the layout with the embellishments found in theSpice Market Classified: Memory Keeping Kit. I loosely ran them down the center of the page in a pattern. I also used some stamps from the Spice market collection. And to finish it off, I used the letter stickers from the kit for my title. Cheers!  

Rachel Newman: Pattern Paper in a Memory Planner, Three Ways

The pattern papers in the Daisy Fields Collection were meant for adding interest and function to you memory planning spreads. Here are three I utilized them in the layout. First, I covered the “Week Of” title and a large area of white space with one of the pattern papers from the Daisy Fields Classified: Memory Keeping Kit. The pattern paper was a perfect place to stamp the month using the set from the Spice Market Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. The pattern papers also make great mattes from photos. Here I used to papers to matte my photos and included embellishment clusters, too. If you need a little more room for photos or journal, the pattern papers in this collection are perfect for making flips and folders. Here, I used the pattern paper to make a flip to include some hidden journaling. I was able to create a fasten for the top by using an craft knife to trim a semi circle into the paper. For this day, I created a small folder with a bone folder to make flap that I adhered down. This provided a place to tuck a few extra photos. The folder was also the perfect matte for my photo, too!
