You cannot mix preorders with regular products
For this layout, I used an unpocket page style using some of the pocket cards, paired with a tag and trimmed-down patterned paper from the Summer Vibes: Classified Memory Keeping Kit in my Daisy Planner.
There were so many fun puffy embellishments in this month’s collection I knew they needed to have a moment in my layout. When using puffy embellishments, I like to balance them and have them on both pages of my memory planning layout. As I am documenting everyday memories, I went with puffy embellishments that have an overall everyday vibe for us here in SW Florida which means cold drinks, flip-flops, and sunnies.
Another way I keep both pages cohesive and balanced even though the cards are different sizes is by having clear borders. This is symmetrical across the two pages. For the bottom right quadrants, I used a strip of citrus washi tape from the Summer Vibes Planner Add-On Kit to give the illusion of the crisp four corners.
This style of layout is a great option when you only have a few photos in the week to document. I also matted these photos on some paper from the notepad from the Summer Vibes Planner Kit and I really like how it framed the photos. This white space also provides some contrast against the colorful patterned paper. These repeated elements are another way to bring balance and harmony to an unconventional "pocket-page" layout. I hope this layout has given you some memory planning inspiration to document your everyday summer moments.
