Memory Keeping with Serengeti Tags, Tabs and Labels

Memory Keeping with Serengeti Tags, Tabs and Labels
Hello Cocoa Daisy friends, The DT's challenge for today is to use tags, tabs and labels in their designs. These items are great for layering, creating focal points on your layout, simple journaling, and creating pull outs for hidden journaling, additional photos, or collected ephemera such as tickets and receipts. These kit items can be used for simple labeling and to create collages on your layouts too. Let's begin with a memory planner design by Casie. "Hi Daisy Fans! Today I am sharing a design that is all about labels and word strip die cuts! I love the color theme this month and want those colors to stand out among my photos." "To achieve this, I printed my week's worth of photos in black and white. Then the layering of labels began! I typically add those labels along the top or bottom of the photos to provide an anchor." "I finished up the design using a Betty sticker from the free Simon COVID-19 printable." We love memory planner designs and the endless options for using them to record everyday life. Casie's design incorporates lots of labels to tell the stories for the week she is documenting. They help make each story within the week stand on its own. Now let's take a look at Audrey's amazing design. "Our challenge for this blog post was to use tags, tabs and labels. Cocoa Daisy has so many gorgeous options that you can find in all the kits that made it easy to accept this challenge! Because I just finished participating with the scrapbooking community in Week in the Life, I decided to make a 12x12 planner style layout to document some of the highlights." "I used tags, tabs and labels in so many different ways in this layout! Let's explore some of them. My first for you is to use a tag, such as this 'Field Notes' die cut to document a small story or a reminder to yourself." "Place a few of the tabs in a row, alternating the placement to mimic a banner. I used a tiny attacher to adhere them which gave it texture." "Add a tag behind a photo or journal card to give your layout a "pop" of fun and texture. I used string from the bag the kits come in for this tag." "Pop a label up with pop dots for some dimension. Here, the height from the label balances the height of the puffy stickers." "I am excited to see how you all use tabs, tags and labels. "Tag" me if you do!" Wow! Audrey's design incorporates items from every one of our Serengeti kits to create this one of a kind documentation of a week in her life. It's a phenomenal way to document an entire week in a single page design. Thanks so much for joining us today. We'd love to see what you are creating with our memory keeping and planner kits.
