One of the best parts about planning with Cocoa Daisy Kits is the chance to add a little flair to your planner setup, even if the bulk of your planning system remains the same. This can be done easily with embellishments from the Big Sky Collection
Cocoa Daisy's Big Sky Collection is a great way to have a little something country in my little bit city kinda lifestyle. I made 3 simple things to embellish my planner this month.
Not very often I can make a belt buckle bookmark for my planner! These intricate patches included with the Big Sky Stationary Kit were my inspiration to work around. The brown notebook cover offered me the buckle while the washi strips were the belt loops. To add additional detail, I included another washi strip for the shirt placket and put the Metallic Enamel Dots in place for buttons. Shading was also done for a “dirty” denim look by using the Zebra Zensations Colored Pencil. Check out my process in this video!
The tags from the Big Sky Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit were the first printed linen bookmarks I have seen from Cocoa Daisy. To finish them off I just threaded a folded strip of washi through the grommet. Plus, who doesn’t love a little flair button as an add on too!
I have been raving about the adhesive pockets in the Planner Add-On Kit for months and are always happy to see their return to the kits. I’ve been utilizing the space above my pocket inclusions to add more detail to the inside cover of my Big Sky Standard Daisy Notebook. A piece of washi and two placed adhesive die cuts fit the bill this month but hoping to ramp up the usability space in April!
