Hello, Daisies! This month’s Love Notes kit is so fancy! February is the month of love. It’s something to celebrate. Let’s get our planners dolled up for Valentine’s Day and beyond! I created my doll using two dashboard designs. I chose the pretty, shopping girl, and the whimsical, watercolor balloons. Both appear in the Love Notes dashboard kit. First, I made copies of the A5 and personal size dashboards. I wanted to have extras available, in case I made a mistake while cutting out the images. Next, I used fine scissors to cut out the girl & balloons. The shopping girl is made from the A5 dashboard. She’s just under 8 inches tall in her heels! Isn't she gorgeous? The balloons are made from both the A5 and personal size dashboards. In the photo above, you can see a few tricks:

1. I added jute string to some balloons.
2. On the left, the string is attached behind the balloons (with tape).
3. On the right, the string is between the doll’s fingers. I made a hole between them and ran the string through it.
4. I popped up some balloons for dimension (with foam tape).
