Winter Storytelling with Snow Day Society

Winter Storytelling with Snow Day Society
Hello friends!

Winter storytelling is a breeze with the  Snow Day Society Collection.

Tai Cortes: Winter Storytelling with Snow Day Society

Hello crafty friends! It’s Tai, and I have a simple double-page layout in my Snow Day Society Simple Daisy Notebook. The Snow Day Society Collection is perfect for your winter storytelling. The colors in this collection are the blues, mint greens, and white along with adorable illustrated characters to complement your story telling. I am using elements from the Snow Day Society Scrapbooking Kit, the Snow Day Society Simple Daisy Notebook, and the Snow Day Society Journaling Kit for this project. We recently enjoyed the scholastic book fair along with Bingo night at my daughter's school, and we had so much fun.

I first selected the background page in the Snow Day Society Simple Daisy Notebook that I wanted to work with. The page with the spirals of snowflakes and ribbons of blue was perfect around the edges of this page would work well for many kinds of layouts. For me, I knew I wanted to include a few photos for our evening together with my parents.

I printed my main photo at 3x4 landscape and then two more at 2x3 portrait. I also kept them in color because the colors in the photos did not compete with the collections’ colors. It worked in the layout. My title ‘Bingo Night’ used two different alphas, die cut letters, and puffy stickers from the Snow Day Society Scrapbooking Kit and Snow Day Society Journaling Kit. I love the contrast between the two. To complete my photo cluster on the opposite side of the page, I added a character die cut, rub ons and a chipboard element.

This page in my Snow Day Society Simple Daisy Notebook came together rather easily, and sometimes easy is needed to stay current in our memory keeping. I hope you have projects that come together easily this winter season so that you can stay current as well in your memory keeping.
