Willows Creative Kit and Classic Inserts: an Excellent Pairing!

Hello, friends!

The Willows Creative Kit and Classic Inserts are a great pairing! Throw in the Willows Classic Cousin Sticker Kit and you have everything you need for a month of planning!

Willows Classic Inserts

To give you a sense of just how many pages come in the Willows Classic Inserts, check out my unboxing of these inserts on Instagram. Each set comes with a monthly divider, a month on two pages, a five sets of weeklies (undated!) and five color-block perforated sheets. I'll be focusing on the weekly pages but don't worry, I've got some fun ideas for the monthly pages, too!  One of the reasons I love the Willows Creative Kit as a companion to these inserts is for the small tabs found in the die-cut pack. Here, I used one to make a tab for the divider and I also use them on the color-block pages as a page-marker.

The inserts come predecorated, which is great if you plan to enjoy the illustrations but stick to pen or pencil while you're planning. I often do that with these inserts, but I also like to use the Willows Creative Kit and Willows Classic Cousin Sticker Kit to add a little flair to my weekly plans. The washi and alpha stickers help me separate my two main task sections, my "must do's" and my "maybe's". Icons stickers signal important events like going to the gym or when I'm blocking off time for work. The sidebar is the perfect place for a few habits I want to be more consistent with along with a happy list (the clipboard sticker) and a quote for a little inspiration. It is easy to build this sidebar with the stickers from the Willows Classic Cousin Sticker Kit.

A few items from the Willows Creative Kit really made my heart happy! In the kit there was a stencil, stamp set and and ink block! I had so much fun playing around with these items (on a separate sheet of paper) layers the lily pad and flower stencils with their coordinating stamps. And that little frog - he has stolen my heart! The attempts I like, I trimmed and adhered onto these pages. Creative planning is not all tasks and to-do lists. It's a chance to have a little fun, too!

I adore these color-block pages. It's like having a weekly dashboard, with plenty of space to add all the nitty gritty, so you have more room for creative fun on the weekly spread! I dated these pages with date stickers from the Willows Classic Cousin Sticker Kit and used the "This Week" stickers to separate my work and personal/admin checklists. On the color-block section, I track details about my workouts, daily pages read ( I'm trying read more and scroll less!) and shows watched.

Planning with this collection is fun and I can't for you to plan with it, too!
