TN Tuesday: Kit Stamps and Rub-ons

TN Tuesday: Kit Stamps and Rub-ons
Hello Daisies! It's TN Tuesday and we challenged our design team to share some of the techniques they use with stamps and rub-ons in our Simple Dori Traveler's Notebook. We love that each design can be recreated easily and includes a spot of journaling. Ria is sharing a lovely design with past kit stamps. "Do you ever wonder how you can use those itty bitty sentiments in our Cocoa Daisy stamp sets? You can try using them with label stickers and ephemera. They fit perfectly!" "I suggest that you stamp them first before adhering the sticker/ephemera to your layout. That way, you avoid making stamp mistakes." "This layout that I shared comes from my Book Journal where I have been documenting my reading adventures. The stamp set I used was from last year’s Book Club kit which is perfect for this theme." Ria's clean and simple designs are the best! Next, let's see what Melina has created for us. "Hey y’all! I absolutely could not wait to dig into the new Serengeti kits! So today my TN Tuesday layout is all about fun in the sun. I love to journal about our little family adventures." "For this project I used only the Pocket Memory Keeping kit and the Simple Dori. The die cuts, cards and stamp set are so fun in this kit! That little ink pad is an easy and convenient way to add a pop of color to your projects." "And wow oh wow how about the rub on sheet? I’ve used it here in the bottom corner of my page." "I love how easy the rub-ons are to use. All the Cocoa Daisy products are a fabulous way to create easy, beautiful keepsakes." "I’m really loving the colors in this upcoming June theme and can’t wait to see your projects using it! Have an awesome day!" Melina has created a pretty journal design with the Serengeti kits. It shows the versatility of the products Christine thoughtfully pulls together for each theme! Our final design is by Evy and we think the horizontal orientation of her layout is fabulous. "Hello, here we are with another TN Tuesday! Last time I showed you how I create titles by mixing different stamps and vellums so today I show you a layout where I use diecuts, puffy stickers and words combined with some stamp to create a different title." "First I cut the 'documented' title and the arrows from 2 cards of the pocket memory keeping kit, pasted them along the edge and added the happy day writing." "At this point I cut the 'so this happened' diecut in half and added the puffy stickers. After writing the caption I added some stamps to give movement." "On the right page I simply stamped the date on a banner, pasted the diecuts noted and stamped a small writing. I framed the project simply using a ruler and a black marker thus creating the horizontal and vertical lines." The black border Evy created on her layout is the prefect finishing touch. Thanks so much for joining us today. We'd love to see what you are creating with our past and present kits.
