Three Projects with the Penelope Creative Kit

Three Projects with the Penelope Creative Kit

Hello, friends!

There are so many ways to tap into your creative spirit with the Penelope Creative Kit. Here are three projects for your planners, journals, and books that have a touch of this gorgeous collection.

Project #1: Decorate Your Monthly Calendar

The stickers in the Penelope Creative Kit can work with just about any planner! Here, I dated an Archer and Olive Planner monthly spread, but I didn't stop there! I had to include all the decorative stickers and rub-ons, too! I finished off the layout with the Stickles to give the page a bit of sparkle.

Project #2: DIY Journal Covers

When I saw the fabric and the dried flowers in the Penelope Creative Kit, I set to work adding them to my journal covers. The smaller fabric was the centering background element for my Penelope Daisy Weeks Notebook cover, adhered with glue. Just because I don't sew, doesn't mean I can't use fabric in my projects! Adhering the dried flowers was a bit tricker so I reinforced it with clear masking tape on top.

This gave me the idea to laminate another bunch of the dried flowers to add a simple (removable) decoration to my other notebook. I wish I had thought of this sooner, but sometimes you have to try something to get the best outcome!

Project # 3: DIY Page Marker

A page marker is a perfect way to utilize fabric scraps and journal cards from the  Penelope Creative KitI used paper from the Penelope Planner Kit as the background, but you could easily use any cardstock or pattern paper to achieve the same effect. Add them to your journal, mark pages in your book, or hold punch it and add it to various planner setups.
