With the holiday season upon us, I thought of all the people I love to bits coming to our new home to celebrate the season so I wanted to have a welcoming door theme in my planner to reflect my always open door policy.
  
 
 
  
After rounding the top corners of this red leaf planner kit paper, I used the discard from a trimmed cover pieces and cut 2- 2" squares and 2-2"x4" rectangles as well as the corresponding pieces cut just 1/4" smaller on each side. Using 1/8" foam strips I elevated the top layer to create some dimension.
  
 
  
The Planner Kit die cuts that looked like postage stamps were just the cutest to add to the front door panels and I finished the top of the door with a cluster of stickers from the kit to create a wreath design. This was an easy and festive way to open my planner and my holiday season plans.
