Tell Your Summer Stories with the Wisteria Lane Collection

Ah, summer! Summer is often a favorite season, filled with big and small adventures. What better way to remember your favorite summer memories, past and present, than with the Wisteria Lane Collection? This collection has everything you need to document your warm-weather wanderings. We have three stunning designs to share with you today, and we hope they inspire you to print those photos and document your summer stories.
Traci used the Wisteria Lane Collection to document a sweet summer moment.
“Nothing screams summer like ice cream! This year, I have a bucket list of things I want to do with the kids since it's my oldest's last year of being a kid (*sob*) and one was to visit one of our local ice cream shops downtown. When my kid chose to wear purple AND chose a purple ice cream cone, I just KNEW I had to use the Wisteria Lane collection to scrap these photos!
I knew I wanted ice cream to be a focal point, so I designed a swirly cone ice cream cut file on my silhouette, then backed each layer of "ice cream" with coordinating purple papers and the cone with one of the coral papers from the Wisteria Lane Modern Memory Keeping Kit to make it the star of the show!
On the opposite side, I used pockets, but I knew I wanted to cover up my journaling and I wanted to use the pretty raindrop vellum from the Wisteria Lane Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit included in the collection since we went for ice cream in the middle of a summer rainstorm. To adhere it, I used the washi from the kits to create a flip-up with the vellum over the journaling so I could achieve both goals. Summer story: documented!”

Odessa used the negative space in her photos to help tell her summer stories.
“Summertime is fun time! The summers where I am are short and precious so we try to make the most of them. Today I’m sharing a 6x8 pocket page spread I made using the Wisteria Lane Collection. The summery colours are so great! I started with a handful of photos and some journal cards from the Wisteria Lane Modern Memory Keeping Kit. I knew I wouldn’t be doing much journalling on the page so I used some colourful journal cards with some summery phrases on them that went well with my photos. The left side has more colour going on so I used the card with more colour that’s more harmonious with the photos on that side. The right side is very blue and watery so I used a bold card that stands out against them.
On the left side, I used some chipboard, foam stickers, die cuts, and enamel dots from the Wisteria Lane Modern Memory Keeping Kit. I really like just getting my hands in there and moving things around on the page and finding just the right place for them. Before I start a layout I go through the little container I put all the die cuts and loose embellishments from all that month’s Cocoa Daisy Kits and pull the ones that I think will work on my page. It gives me a smaller curated handful of die cuts to pull from. I also used some stickers from the Wisteria Lane Memory Keeping Sticker Kit which I’m a big fan of. I love having more stickers, especially the phrase stickers and washi strips.
On the right side, I had a little fun! I used some of the die-cut alphas to have some fun on one of the photos along with a foam word sticker, both from the Modern Memory Keeping Kit. It was a fun way to help tell the story of a cold lake photo. Below that is a big 4x6 photo with a ton of negative space. I was originally inclined to do some journalling there but instead decided to tone it down with a chipboard arrow and circle from the Modern Memory Keeping Kit along with some phrase stickers from the Memory Keeping Sticker Kit. I love this little cluster that lets the phrase stickers tell the story. The Memory Keeping Sticker Kit has so many fun things to help document summer fun!”
Evy has dedicated a travelers notebook insert to her seaside summer adventures.
“Summer, for someone who loves the sea, is my favorite time of the year. It is even more so since 2 years ago I got the SUP (stand up paddle) board as a gift. This project is dedicated to this great passion and to the first paddleboard outing this year. I made this page while on vacation with the basic material I brought with me and the fantastic Wisteria Lane Collection! I enjoyed mixing various elements of the Wisteria Lane Modern Memory Keeping Kit and Wisteria Lane Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. On the right page, I have inserted a paper that I brought with me (from Traci Reed Designs) which I embellished with puffy phrases and a chipboard arrow.
I used a card as the foundation for layering diecuts, washi tape, and stamps. I couldn't resist using stickers from the Wisteria Lane Classified: Memory Keeping Kit; these clear stickers are my obsession of the month. This travelers notebook is all about my seaside adventures and the colors of the Wisteria Lane Collection fit perfectly!”
