WOW! We are so excited to share Amy's work with you! She has taken the Modern Memory Kit and the Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit and created some amazing memory keeping spreads with the Wisteria Lane collection.
We have four of these wonderful projects to share with you, so keep reading.
Project 1: Desk Banner
Last summer, while searching for outdoor birthday decor items, I stumbled across these great little desk flags at the dollar tree. I thought it would be fun to create my own banners every month or seasonally to set out in my office.
This month I have created a banner using some of the beautiful supplies from the Cocoa Daisy Wisteria Lane Modern Memory Keeping Kit. I took a sheet of the double sided paper to make the banner base. I cut the 3x4 calendar card to make a small tag and calendar which attached to the banner base. I embellished the banner with enamel dots, a Tim Holtz style clip, as well as a design from the FREE printables. I pulled a few items from my craft stash - craft cardstock, purple thread, twine and ribbon - to put some finishing touches on this calendar banner that now lives on my desk for the month of July.

Project 2: Desk Accessory
I am a regular subscriber to the Memory Keeping Sticker Kit. I LOVE the inspirational quotes in that kit. I wanted to find a way to enjoy them regularly, so I constructed a DIY Rolodex stand to house the cards I plan to make.  I sized the stand to hold 3.25x4.75” paper, which I can mount the 3x4 project life sized cards. If I ever want to use one of these cards in my project life album or turn one into a greeting card, I can easily remove it from the disc style system and move it to another project.
I created one fun card including a quote, enamel dots and a few printables. The other card that I dug into the Modern Memory Keeping Kit and pulled out the 3x4 calendar card and a piece of ephemera to create a cute, yet functional calendar for my desk. Creating a DIY Rolodex was the perfect solution for me to display these quotes/cards on my desk to enjoy.
Project 3: Clusters
I love looking at ALL kinds of paper crafting projects…even if it’s not somethingthat I make myself. You never know where you’ll find your next great design idea or even just a little inspiration to get your creative juices flowing. This week I will be posting a series of projects using the FREE printables from the Wisteria Lane collection. Icreated one cluster that I used across multiple paper crafting projects.
The cluster in its simplest form is made up of three images and some thread. As I begin to post my projects, you might notice slight variations to the clusters. For projects larger in size, I added an extra item or two – an extra leaf, a banner, and/or jute to pieces that I felt I could handle some bulk. I had a limited number of enamel dots, so I used sequins from my stash to add something extra.
FIRST CLUSTER IN PROJECT 3 SERIES
For my first project in this series, I have added my cluster to a journaling page in my standard-wide, traveler’s notebook memory keeper. Since the space was small, I kept it simple and just added some washi for a little extra something.
SECOND CLUSTER IN PROJECT 3 SERIES
My second cluster project is an Art Trading Card (ATC). ATC cards measure at 2.5x3.5”, so I was working on a much smaller canvas. Artist Trading Cards are miniature pieces of art, so it’s all about the little details. I added mixed media using gelatos, a little jute for texture,and a few sequins for some sparkle from my stash. I also printed a “squeeze the day” banner to finish off this small cluster project.
THIRD CLUSTER IN PROJECT 3 SERIES
One of my favorite things to embellish are Project Life Cards. When adding my cluster to this 3x4 Project Life Card, I kept it simple to allow myself room to add a photo, or in this case,journaling.
 
FOURTH CLUSTER IN PROJECT 3 SERIES
Memorydex cards are another favorite project of mine. Similar to the ATC card, I wanted my memorydex card to be full of elements, so I added all the extras – gelatos, jute, a banner and enamel dots. I also enlarged the size of my printed images to fill the 4x4” space.
Project 4: Traveler's Notebook Spreads
I really enjoy creating TN spreads. I don’t do it very often…and I can’t even tell you why. I have had an All About Me TN project on my to-do list for ages now! Well guess what? I think I have officially started! I used @cocoa_daisy ‘s Wisteria Lane Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit to document a couple of recent stories - All About Me!
My first spread is all about my recent gallbladder surgery. I pulled supplies from almost all of my July Cocoa Daisy kits to create this one! I used the blue alpha stickers, arrow die cut and chipboard piece from the TN & Modern Memory Keeping Kits. The clear stitches sticker - which I thought was really fun and an appropriate addition to this story - I pulled out of the Classified Memory Keeping Kit. The gray alpha stickers are from the Memory Keeping Sticker Kit. The label up top came from the Daisy Add-On Sticker Kit. Lastly, I used the Alpha Stamp Set from the New Chapter January 2021 collection to stamp part of my title.
I have started my second TN spread, and is set up to recap thoughts from my time as a Cocoa Daisy guest designer. The plan is to finish my journaling at the end of the month.
Once again, I pulled supplies from almost all my kits! I used die cuts from the TN & Modern Memory Keeping Kits, as well as the Main Planner Kit. If you don’t subscribe to the Main Planner Kit you can always print the beautiful images from the FREE printables. The printables make a great addition to any memory keeping project. I also used a word strip from the Memory Keeping Sticker Kit and a saying from the Daisy Add-On sticker Kit. A little messy thread and few enamel dots finishes up my layout.
