Hello, Friends! In the world of paper crafting, we all know that stickers, papers, washi, and die cuts come into our possession and (hopefully) go on to document beautiful memories and embellish our pages. But you want to know what lasts forever? STAMPS! That's right! Stamps are the gifts we keep giving to crafty selves. It doesn't matter what collection they came from, you can always use stamps again and again! Today we have some fun ideas to share with you on how to combine stamps from our previous Cocoa Daisy kit to make beautiful spreads. Carol is definitely going in the right direction with this fantastic spread, using stamps to create movement and grounding to her other page elements. When documenting one of our many adventures at White Sands National Park, I knew that I wanted to go with a sense of ‚Äúdirection‚Äù for the design. I pulled a combo of arrow-like Stamps from the Denim and Blush Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit and the Treetop Canopy Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. I then proceeded to use them both on a 12x12 layout. I love how versatile stamps are and that they really do add so much value to a memory keeper‚Äôs stash. I used papers to make a grid grouping for photos and then off-set them for an ‚Äúoff-grid‚Äù look. See what I did there? Adding in border stamps gave them a bit of a grounding -if you will- and the extra spaces were the perfect spots to drop in some die-cut pieces mixed with arrow stamps. For the script ‚ÄúLove‚Äù stamp paired with ‚Äúthis life‚Äù I chose to use different ink colors to complement the hues, I was working with. I finished it off with some watercolor splatters and the green & blue number die cuts from the Treetop Canopy Classified: Memory Keeping Kit. Hope y‚Äôall will take advantage of your stamps old and new to see just how adaptable they can be. Happy Stamping! The stamps in this layout look so cohesive, as they were all part of the same set. One way to create cohesion across stamps set is to keep the ink color consistent, as Carol has in this amazing spread. Choosing similar types of stamps (like arrows for this layout) is also a great way to pull from multiple stamp sets. Jill is the master at stamp mixing, as shown here in this layout! "Because there have been such wonderful flower and leaf Memory-Keeping Stamps in 2021, I enjoyed this chance to combine them on a 12x12 page about my love for houseplants. I put the page together using the Poppy Fields Modern Memory Keeping Kit and the Poppy Fields Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. The gorgeous pattern papers were perfect for this spread, and I loved the way the washi tape allowed me to reinforce my red, yellow, and green color scheme. I splattered acrylic paints of those colors on my background cardstock, and then I stamped in randomly placed clusters along the edges of my page, focusing on the daisy stamp and the scribble stamp from January New Chapter Memory Keeping Stamps (still available!) and leaf stamps from February Denim and Blush Memory Keeping Stamps. I used different colored inks to reflect the colors of my layout. I finished the page by stamping "Enjoying This" from the Poppy Fields Modern Memory Keeping Kit to accent my embellishment cluster in the lower-left corner. Stamps are my favorite kit element because they are tools I pull out again and again. Have fun getting your stamps inky!" We love how Jil pulled similar items, (flowers and plants) from multiple stamp sets and made them work well together. Jil walks through a similar process from a previous spread in this video on her YouTube channel, so make sure to check it out. I can never pass up an opportunity to get "stampy", so I have a couple of foundation pages in my Simple Dori to share with you. I'm pretty sure I squealed when I saw the border stamp in the Treetop Canopy Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit because I knew how incredibly versatile it is! And paired with stamps from the last few kits, I knew it was going to get some heavy use in my projects.¬† For this spread, I used a piece of cardstock and layered stamps from Treetop Canopy Memory Keeping Stamps, Denim and Blush Memory Keeping Stamps, and New Chapter Memory Keeping Stamps on top of each other, using colors that corresponded with the rainbow paper on the right. Once I finished stamping, I used a 1.5-inch circle punch and adhered the circle onto the Treetop Canopy Simple Dori page. If you are new to stamping or are nervous about stamping directly on the insert pages, I suggest have a few scrap pieces of paper around that you can stamp on and trim out. Did you notice that fun pattern I created in the previous spread? I loved it so much, I repeated several times in different colors and with different alignment on the page. To create the pattern, I placed all the stamps from the Treetop Canopy Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit on my stamp block at the same time, inked all the stamps at once, and stamped away! For this layout I placed the ink block in a vertical direction and stamped in the center, leaving room for more stamping on each side.¬†     Here is another look at how I used this stamp by turning the stamp horizontally and masking off part of the stamp.
