Hey there, friends! It's Marsha Farris, and today I'm sharing a layout created with the Summer Avenue Scrapbooking Kit and the Summer Avenue Simple Daisy Notebook. The travel designs and bright colors were perfect for this project, documenting a trip to the beach.

  

 

 

I liked the design of the spread in the Summer Avenue Simple Daisy Notebook with the border along the edges. There was a quote printed on the page, and I chose to make it work for my project by covering it with a photo. I used the alpha PET stickers from the Summer Avenue Scrapbooking Kit to make the title- love the bold font of this set. Then, I used chipboard stickers, ephemera, and rub-ons from the same kit to create a grid design below the title. I also added a geotag using the Summer Avenue Scrapbooking Kit stamp and blue ink.

 

 

  

I printed my journaling on clear matte label sticker paper and added it to the page. There was a bit of extra space below the journaling, so I added a strip of the fun "Road Map" washi tape.

 

 

  

On the right side of the layout, I backed my photo with red patterned paper from the Summer Avenue Scrapbooking Kit, leaving a thin border around the edges. I loved the photo, so I wanted to keep the embellishing to a minimum. I layered a chipboard half-circle element onto the photo and enjoyed using stamps from the Summer Avenue Scrapbooking Kit "Do Not Disturb" stamp set to make a little door hanger. I used two shades of blue ink for the stamping, and I thought it was the perfect finishing touch hanging on the edge of the photo!
