Setup Saturday with Let's Go!

 Hello, friends!

We love when an element from a collection, like a certain notepad from the Let's Go! Planner Kit inspires a whole setup!

The guest check tear pad from the Let's Go! Planner Kit was the inspiration behind this month’s planner format.  It’s perfect for some off-the-cuff summer fun!  Instead of using it in a traveler's notebook like its intention and using it bound in that way, I made a tear pad out of the individual pages.

Once I sliced the whole Let's Go! Daisy Standard Notebook into halves, I rearranged the note pages to have one weekly striped page then followed by 5 pages of the designed grid pages.  To make a sturdy back, I stacked the covers together and glued them on top of each other. For assembly, after lining the pages and the cover in a pile and holding it tightly, I generously put a bead of craft glue along the top of the stack. 3 binder clips along the top were quite helpful in holding it together while it dried.

I haven’t done a project with Cocoa Daisy yet that I haven’t used or made a pocket and this month it’s not different. I folded in a 1/2 inch on three sides of a 3.5 x 5.5-inch piece of diner paper and topped it with washi tape from the Let's Go! Planner Kit.  After adhering it down on three sides, it is a great place for the Let's Go Creative Kit stickers mini sheets or the paper that I have used and ripped off.

In hindsight, I should have cut my remaining kit paper to use as dividers to put the Let's Go Creative Kit tabs on them.  But instead attached 3 to the weekly striped pages.  What a sturdy place to plan a month, make lists, or dream of a summer wanderlust getaway! Make sure to check out my YouTube Video to see how I put this together!
