Hello, friends! A new month always brings a fresh start, especially inside our planners! Don't worry if you haven't completed your planner setup! We're here to give you a little more inspiration today. From ring bound and discbound to traveler's notebook, we have some great tips and tricks for making your planners pretty and productive for December. This is a special "Setup Saturday" featuring three collections: the Winter Twilight Collection, the 2021 Christmas Collection,¬†and the new Minimalist Collection, a permanent collection found in the Daisy Store. So grab a warm beverage and snuggle in as we take a tour through a few planner setups.¬† Our fearless leader, Christine, shares her gorgeous December planner set up over on the Cocoa Daisy YouTube Channel.¬† She is the master of creating layers and interaction in her planner with the dashboards and pocket cards. And her planner pockets are always eye candy for us paper crafting lovers! We also get a peek inside her journal setup, too! [embed]https://youtu.be/mGFew_jxLaE[/embed]     After a few month's planning in a traveler's notebook, I am back to discs! I am using the Minimalist Collection Classic Size Inserts for the month of December and I couldn't be more in love! The inserts arrive with a monthly divider that I decorated using the Winter Twilight Collection. I started by adhering the 4x6 pocket card from the Winter Twilight Modern Memory Keeping Kit to the middle of the page. In the most recent post, I talked about my love of grids, which inspired me to create another grid on my divider.¬† Using stickers from the Winter Twilight Classic Sticker Kit, the Winter Twilight Memory Keeping Sticker Kit, the cirl and sentiment stamps from the Winter Twilight Memory Keeping Stamp Sets, chipboard stars from the Winter Twilight Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit, I made embellished clusters on each pattern paper square.¬† Labels are great to write on or add alpha letters to, but they are also fun to use as simple embellishments as I did here. To add a little texture and interest, I stapled the labels and stamps the stitch pattern using the Peach Ridge Memory Keeping Stamps.¬† The grid design continues onto my monthly overview pages that I turned in a Winter mood board. I love that the Minimalist Collection Classic Size Inserts have a spread between the monthly divider and calendar. This allows for a space to write goals, monthly lists, or, create a mood board! To make this mood board, I started with photos from magazines that inspired coziness and relaxation. I chose one paper from the Winter Twilight Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit for my squares and repeated the same decorating process that I did for the divider.¬† The words strip stickers from the Winter Twilight Classified: Memory Keeping Kit provided the perfect black accent around the page. A tip: don't be afraid to trim down and alter your pocket cards, as I did with the hibernation sentiment.¬† I adore the stars and triangle die cuts that came with the Winter Twilight Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit this month! I used the triangle die cuts to extend the pattern to the top of the right page. I have a simple (for now) setup for my monthly pages. To add interest to the top of the page, I created a graphic pattern using the stamp from the Winter Twilight Memory Keeping Stamp Sets. The page has some motivation quotes along the bottom of the page that I love, but didn't really make sense for this monthly setup. Instead, I covered them with stunning mountain die cuts from the Winter Twilight Classified: Memory Keeping Kit. For the rest of the spread, I used stickers and die cuts from the Minimalist Collection Planner Kit.   We hope this post gets you in the setup spirit!
