Rachel Newman: Summer Vibes Personal Rings Setup

But first, let's talk about the dividers and dashboards.
Dividers and Dashboards
[gallery columns="2" size="full" ids="889807,889804"] Because of the smaller scale of the personal planner, your supplies go farther, especially the papers from the Summer Vibes Planner Kit. Ring planner setups scream for all the fun dashboards and dividers. With the planner papers as the base, I decided to use the snarky quotes from the Summer Vibes Planner Add-On Kit as the main decorative elements. For this Dashboard, I folded the paper over so that both patterns can be seen behind the pocket card decoration. A few stickers and die cuts made the perfect embellishment.
Pocket Love
[gallery size="full" ids="889810,889809,889811"] Another benefit of a ring-bound setup is having fun with pockets! I used the die cuts from the Summer Vibes Planner Kit to spruce up the pockets of the planner. For function, I created a pocket for stickers and extra sheets of paper using planner papers. And just for fun, I included a clear pocket page complete with a pocket card and a DIY card using paper scraps and die cuts.
Personal Size Inserts
And now for the reason for the setup, these fantastic inserts! Here is a look at a completed week. I have room to todo's, events, and, yes, decoration, too! In the summer months, I find I have fewer appointments, so the horizontal layout in this size works great for me. And with a little planner hack, I can access these inserts easily and write on a flat surface, too. Part of the reason the weekly spread works well for me is thanks to these awesome Day on Two Page Inserts! A tip for daily pages: set a week at a time, like I did in this video. It's easy to do thanks to the stamp sets in the Summer Vibes Planner Kit and the Summer Vibes Modern Memory Keeping Kit. On one side of the page, I have my hourly schedule and my categorized tasks on the other page.  In a larger planner format, I would put my meal plan on the weekly spread. Now, I have a separate space for this information. Bonus: I have a space for my grocery list, too! I can write in on the open grid page, take a photo of it and have it with me at the grocery store.
