Traci Reed: Scrapbook Past Autumn Memories with Cozy Season

Ooooh, I’m feelin' fall with the brand new Cozy Season Scrapbooking Kit + 12x12 Paper add-on from Cocoa Daisy. Still, sadly, it’s not quite fall here yet, so I’m reaching back to 2018 for some of my favorite fallish photos of myself so I can play with this gorgeous new collection! I wanted to add allll the beautiful patterned papers to the page, but I wasn’t feeling your standard paper strips or blocks, so instead I went with 5.75x3” tags behind my photos!

This allowed me to use a wide range of patterns and have a consistent look that repeated the shapes/sizes of my four 3x5” photos for some consistency. I grounded the whole thing with a torn strip of one of the lighter-colored patterned papers from the Cozy Season 12x12 Paper add-on and my base layout was finished! Now I can go ahead and embellish with pieces from the Cozy Season scrapbook kit!

I wanted to focus on a large title, so I used the puffy letter stickers to spell out “fall in love with” on the bottom edge of my grounding 12x12 paper, then I used one of the 6x8 white cardstock papers in the Cozy Season Scrapbooking Kit to cut out the word “yourself” and then I inked it with orange ink to bring in more of that orange color from my photos. This is a fun and easy way to make a literal “bold statement” on your page without adding a lot of embellishment!
