In recent years, a new trend has emerged: scrapbooking in a smaller format. Let’s explore why scrapbooking in a smaller format is great and why you should give it a try using the Autumn Whispers Collection!
Scrapping small is right up my alley because I love making cards, so making anything on a smaller scale makes me happy! For this spread, I used the gorgeous Autumn Whispers Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit and I cut my spread down to 3.75 x 5.75
For the left side of my spread, I used the awesome letter stickers for my sentiment. A little tip when adhering letters like this to get them as straight as possible...after you layout your letters (before adhering) use Press 'N Seal to pick up the letters, remove the backing from your stickers then line them up using the Press 'N Seal. It works like a charm every time. I also used a die cut that I popped up with foam adhesive on the left side of my sentiment and I also added a rub-on to the bottom right. Lastly, I added a strip patterned paper to the bottom as well as a few enamel dots to complete the look.
For the right side, I used a sheet of beautiful patterned paper and added a tag that's also included in the Autumn Whispers Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. I adhered it slightly off center and then added my photo. I completed this side of the spread with another die cut sticker and a sentiment sticker.
It was so fun to Scrap Small! And, it looks pretty cool in your album when you have layouts of various sizes.
