Carol Weatherspoon: Pretty Paper Crafts

I absolutely love making cards and the Autumn Whispers Traveler’s Notebook Memory Keeping Kit has some beautiful elements for your card making. For this card, I used beautiful patterned paper from the collection and I just love the warm yellow and orange tones.

Since I used two different patterns, I decided to mat my card front onto black card stock to let the eye rest. Next, I used a scallop circle die from my stash to cut the circle, then I added a few of the ephemera pieces.

I love the hand painted look of the pumpkins and mushroom. Lastly, I added my sentiment, a sweet and simple hello die cut and to finish off the card, I added a few enamel dots.

Sometimes, it's nice to do something different with my Traveler’s Notebook Memory Keeping Kit and I can't wait to get this card in the mail to someone special!
