I always love incorporating the pocket cards from the Modern Memory Keeping Kit every month. And, this month's Lillian's Garden Modern Memory Keeping Kit is no exception! I used a mix of the pocket cards three ways on my Scrap It Notebook layout.
One of my favorite ways to use the cards is by cutting them up to use a certain phrase. I trimmed down one of the blue cards with the white words to fit in the top square of my layout and then layered the pattern from another card behind it.
Another fun way to use pocket cards is for their patterns. If you don't want to cut up one of your larger patterned papers for a small space, then look through your pocket cards to find one that works for you. The plaid pattern worked great behind my quote at the top and the "shiplap" card was a perfect spot for adding my title.
And, the last way I used one of the cards was as a journaling spot. The cards are set up in a variety of ways for journaling, and I cut this one down to fit the space I needed. I liked having the lines, to add my printed journaling on, to complete the layout. Check out this reel to see this spread come together.
You can get the most out of your kits every month, by finding fun, multiple ways to use the different products that are included!
