Tai Cortes: Pocket Pages with Moss & Mirth Kits

Hello crafty friends! It’s Tai and I have a double page pocket page in my 6x8 album. For this layout I am using elements from the Moss & Mirth Scrapbooking Kit and the Moss & Mirth Pocket Cards. This collection, Moss & Mirth, has an amazing color palette that lends itself to fall photos. Since fall is not quite even in full swing here in Florida, I scrolled my camera roll for photos from last year. Its never too late to tell your stories and remember events from last year.

Luckily fall activities are some of my favorite things to do with my daughter and found a visit tot the pumpkin patch with all three of us. The colors worked perfectly with the Moss & Mirth Pocket Cards. My formula for selecting cards across 2 pages is; 1 sentiment card, 1 patterned/decorative card and 1 journaling card. These are the first three I usually grab and then add or take away depending on the number of photos I have printed. In this layout I love the font on two sentiment cards and thought they worked well together.

Once I had my cards and photos selected it all about the embellishments. I love adding rub-on's to my photos. They do work on photo paper well. I also audition out a few die cuts from the collection and stickers in the Moss & Mirth Scrapbooking Kit. I always make sure each photo is embellished. I like to use as much of the products found in the kit as possible. The collections is full of leaves, mushrooms, the woods all in earthy colors. The sentiments are all about enjoying the cozy fall season. What stories are you documenting with your pocket card add on?
