Pocket Page Scrapbooking with Little Bee Cottage

Hello, friends!

We love the ease and room for creative embellishment the pocket cards from the Little Bee Cottage provide, don't you? They are beautiful on their own, but always benefit from personal additions!

Tai Cortes: Pocket Page Scrapbooking with Little Bee Cottage

Hello, my crafty friends. It’s Tai and I am back with a lovely pocket page layout using the new Little Bee Cottage Collection. For this double page layout, I used the Little Bee Cottage Scrapbook Kit with the Little Bee Cottage Pocket Card Add-On Kit. The colors are soft and I enjoy the nature motif of each card.

My family and I recently had our annual Mother’s Day photo shoot. These are my favorite photos of my daughter and me together. These photos worked perfectly because of the limited colors. I selected a few of my favorites and printed them at home sized to 3x4. While printing at home I use the Epson Picture Mate 400. It’s the best printer for your 4x6 and 5x7 photo needs.

Once I selected my 3 photos to use, I flipped through all the cards from the Little Bee Cottage Pocket Card Add-On Kit. When designing a spread, I usually look for at least 1 journal card, 1 sentiment card, and 1 decorative card. In this layout, I went for 1 additional decorative card and sentiment cards to fill the space needed.

Once my cards are selected, I add extra details to each photo and card. I like to include a rub-on, a die cute, ribbon, or enamel dot on each card all from the Little Bee Cottage Scrapbook Kit. It’s great to use your products in this way to make sure they get utilized in your memory-keeping projects. If you look closely, there are extra details per card. My typed journaling will be added on clear sticker paper to complete this double-page layout in my 6x8 family story album.

I hope you were inspired to use your pocket page cards in a classic spread in your album.
