Planning with the Chapters Sticker Kits

Planning with the Chapters Sticker Kits

Hello, friends!

Planner people have to "stick" together (get it?), wouldn't you agree? Take a page out of Jennie's planner book and see how fun and function come together with stickers!

Jennie McGarvey: Planning with the Chapters Sticker Kits

I'm a planner. Chances are, you are, too. (Or, you'd like to be!) I find that not only do I *need* a paper planner to keep track of things, but I also need it to express myself creatively. Stickers are a great way to plan, be functional, and have fun with creativity.

I have been planning similarly for nearly ten years now. The styles shift, and I change things up, but the main concepts have not changed. I love the creative planning approach for enticing me back to my planner pages.

I love layering stickers and almost always do it, at least once, on a layout. I cannot even help it; it's just part of how I do it! I love box stickers like these from the Classic Cousin Sticker Kit. They fit in the columns of my A5 Hobonichi Cousin, but they also layer together so easily. They also work well with individual stickers, as you can see on this layout.

When I'm creating a planner layout, I don't want to go too wild, but having some interest is a great way to make a layout feel more special. This is why I will create a cluster (like I did with the two boxes) but then keep the other layouts as simple as the layout calls for. (On this weekly layout, I need to keep it simple because I need space to write more things!)

I also like to keep a very decisive design, like I did this week with a visual triangle. (You can take the three main clusters, and you can draw straight lines between them to create a triangle.) It looks cute and visually pleasing, but it's simple. This helps me be functional all week long!
