Planning This Week with Cranberry Rose

Planning This Week with Cranberry Rose
Hello, Planner Friends! It's Monday, and that means a fresh, new week inside my planner. Planning for the week is one of my favorite creative routines! I love opening to the blank week, laying out my supplies, and designing a weekly spread that is both fun to look at and functional to use. For this week, I was especially excited to use the Cranberry Rose Collection on my planner pages. But first, let's take a look at my setup for December. I mixed things up this month and discpunched my A5 Daisy Dori to provide more customization inside my planner. I have my planner slipped inside a Webster's Pages A5 Cover, which means I get to decorate the planner pockets! I filled the pockets with a mix of items like the Cranberry Rose Memory Keeping Papers, Pocket Cards, and embellishments from the Classified: Memory Keeping Kit. To highlight the gorgeous paper from the Cranberry Rose Memory Keeping Kits, I kept my cover pretty simple with a few trimmed papers and a pocket card. Did you notice that I use the adorable sticky note as an embellishment? The Cranberry Rose Sticky-Note from the Planner Kit is so cute and will be perfectly sized for my memory planner pages! Creating Dashboards this month was as easy as adding the tab and punching the page. The Cranberry Rose Dashboard Kit had so many beautiful designs, which made the task of setting up my planner so simple. Let's get on to the planning! As you can see, I rely heavily on stickers to decorate my pages. My favorite sticker kit is the Classic Sticker Kit. While this kit is formatted for the classic size happy planner, I have no trouble using this kit in all my different planner formats. I also love the stickers in the Planner Add-On Kit. I love knowing exactly what types of stickers I will receive each month because it helps me have a consistent style for my planning. I love a vertical layout for planning. The insert is designed with a horizontal configuration, but that doesn't stop me from making the insert work for me. To create the vertical columns, I drew three columns along the first two rows and left the bottom open for notes and lists. With the columns drawn, I stamped out the days of the week with the DITL Stamp Set. My favorite part about this stamp set is the "weekend" option! It is perfect for this planning format. Once the page was dated, I pulled out the Cranberry Rose Classic Sticker Kit to add decor around the page. I try to add large stickers, like this quote box in areas where I won't need it for writing. The decorative boxes in the Classic Sticker Kit are long enough to rip in half and use twice! I also like to layers stickers on top of the decorative boxes to create some visual interest. Icons are some of my favorite elements to use on my planner pages. The icons from the Planner Kit Stickers always make it onto my planner pages. I like to add the planner and coffee icons to mark my "coffee and crafting" time on the weekends. I hope you enjoyed a look inside my planner and how I planned this week with the Cranberry Rose Collection. Be sure to check out my "Plan With Me" video on my YouTube channel, too!
