The Let’s Go Collection features bright bold colors and I love it. The 4x6 journal card from the Let's Go Scrapbooking Kit featuring a cassette tape had to be used in one of my pocket page spreads, so this card became my starting point for a layout. My go-to size, lately, to work in is 6x8. I find it easy and manageable to keep current with.
To complete my double-page pocket page layout, I selected a journal card, a sentiment card, and a patterned card all showing similar colors. Once my pocket cards were selected I chose the story I wanted to tell with them.
Recently, I have been building furniture for our second office location. I had a lot of photos to go along with this story, so I made a 6 photo collage and printed a full 4x6 photo too. To use all my photos I needed to create a flip-up. I cut into the 12x12 patterned paper from the Let's Go Scrapbooking Kit with the foodie icons, measuring 5x6. Next, I scored the paper at 4 inches to create the 1-inch lip that I adhered to the photo collage. Pay attention to score at the bottom so the orientation is correct for the flip-up.
My journaling was done on clear sticker paper and adhered to the 4x6 journaling card along with some stamping, the paper clip, and enamel dots from the scrapbooking core kit. I also added some stamping using the and enamel dots to my 4x6 photo. Adding these details creates cohesion on both pages. The colors in this kit are amazing.
