One Kit Challenge: Autumn Thicket Collection

One Kit Challenge: Autumn Thicket Collection
Hello, friends! We have a fun challenge for our Creative Team today. We asked them to create using just one kit and you are going to love what they created!

Ashley Horton: Modern Memory Keeping Kit

I am in love with the Autumn Thicket Collection, and I normally like to mix several kits on one project. For this layout, I only used the Autumn Thicket Modern Memory Keeping Kit, and I loved that it had so many different embellishments to use on my layout. I always love the journaling cards in the Autumn Thicket Modern Memory Keeping Kit and they are usually the initial inspiration for my page when I'm working on a travelers notebook size layout. The saying on this card was perfect with my photo. Once I had the photo and journaling card in place, I chose some of the die-cut leaves and used them for a border. To add some interest to the border, I included some chipboard pieces and enamel dots. I knew the "Hello Autumn" acrylic piece would make a great title for my layout, and I couldn't resist adding one of the fun paper clip leaves to the top of my photo. Marsha Farris: Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit

The Autumn Thicket Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit is beautiful, and I thought it would be perfect for documenting a photo of my youngest son choosing a pumpkin at our local pumpkin patch. We look forward to visiting this farm every year, and I love capturing lots of fun moments throughout the day.
To begin the spread, I chose to focus on the tags in the die-cut pack. I lined them up on the page and added twine from my stash to connect two of the tags. Next, I created the title by combining a stamped word and puffy alpha stickers.
The stamp set also included a leaf image, and I stamped it on some of the tags. Then, for additional interest, I stamped a column of the same leaf going down the page in a few different colors that coordinated with the patterned paper on the right side of the layout.
For the other page of the spread, I trimmed a patterned paper into a tag shape and added a tag top sticker from the Autumn Thicket Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping Kit. I love using tags in my memory-keeping projects, so I was excited to see this sticker sheet as part of the kit! I layered my photo onto the tag and added twine to a smaller die-cut tag to include at the top of the photo. A leaf die cut was the perfect addition for the area below the picture. To finish off the layout, I added enamel dots to a few areas of the page. Get a closer look at my process in this Instagram Reel!
