Noted Die Cuts and Stickers in Memory Keeping

Noted Die Cuts and Stickers in Memory Keeping
Greetings! On the blog today we are sharing ideas with stickers and die cuts from the Noted kits. Design team member Odessa is show us how she used them in her traveler’s note book while Rachel and Casie share die cut and sticker designs in their Happy Planners. Let’s start with Rachel’s layout. “Hello, Memory Keepers! Rachel here, and I am sharing a memory planner spread featuring stickers from the Memory Keeping Sticker Kit and die cuts from the Pocket and Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kits. I am using a Big Happy Planner to document my weekly happenings. I don’t tend to stick to the daily columns assigned. Instead, I look at the week as a whole and build my layout from there. I like to design the spreads as I would a 9x12 (left side) and 12x12 (right side) pocket page layout.” “I love that the Memory Keeping Stickers fit perfectly in the grid boxes. In this spread, I decided to cut and rip the box stickers so that I could use them as embellishment for several of the boxes. Don’t be afraid to alter stickers to make them work for you!” “The embellishments in the Noted Kit are great for adding little phrases to the story of the photos. I was really drawn to the circle elements and used several of the circle die cuts for my mini titles. In the lower right corner, I layered several die cuts onto a box sticker to mark a fun bedtime crafting session. How cute is that scissor?” What a fun design and some great tips from Rachel! Casie’s design is up next. “Layers upon layers of stickers and die cuts to kick of a new year of memory planning! I love how the die cuts from this month's kit highlight every day documenting tools like pens, clips and the occasional paper airplane.” “The large rectangle block stickers from the memory keeping sticker kit fit perfectly into the vertical boxes of the big Happy Planner. I used one as a base layer to highlight my favorite clear quote sticker. I also trimmed the block stickers, placed them vertically & horizontally between and within the boxes to give depth to my layout.” “I finished up the design by outlining the various elements with the black ink pen from the planner kit. Thanks for joining me in sharing this before the pen layout. I can't wait to see how all of you document your January using this gorgeous Noted kit!” Another darling Happy Planner design and did you see the washi + tab + die cut combo Casie added to edge of her page? It’s a great way to mark a special page or section in your planner or album. Our final design today is by Odessa in her traveler’s notebook. “The adhesive pockets in the Noted Traveler’s Notebook kits was what got me started on this layout in my own Traveler’s Notebook. I had just gotten some prints made including some cute photo strips perfect to slip in the pocket!” “I added in a couple of tags; a smaller one with some stickers and the big camera one with some journaling on it. I used some washi and washi strip stickers folded in half to make some coordinating “ribbon” to string through the holes in the tags.” “On the other side I had a ton of fun with stickers and die cuts! I pulled out some of my fav ones from the various Notes kits and arranged them into a rectangle as a decorative element to go with the other side. I really love the washes of colour in these kits!” Odessa’s ephemera collages are always fun and we love them! Thanks for joining us today and we look forward to seeing what you create with the Noted kits. Please share your designs with us in the Cocoa Daisy Memory Keeping Facebook group. Enjoy your week! ~Robin
