Memory Planning Monday: Wander Kits

Memory Planning Monday: Wander Kits

Hello, friends!

It's Memory Planning Monday and today we are featuring a memory-planning monthly spread using the Wander Memory Keeping Kits.

Natasha Pytlik: Memory Planning Monday

I love to use a travel kit to document non-travel moments. I especially like to use travel items that have a vintage aesthetic to them like those found in this month’s collection. For this layout, I am using the Wander Modern Memory Keeping Kit, the Wander Memory Keeping Sticker Kit with a few details from the Wander Classified: Memory Keeping Kit. It’s a little cheesy, but I like to use travel kits to document life’s journey, and the spirit to explore every moment of it. I really like capturing these reflections of “life right now” in the format of a monthly memory planning spread which I put at the front of the month in lieu of a calendar.

To start my process I found a quote online that was my inspiration for the layout. I then saw how the yellow chevron-like pattern paper from the Wander Classified: Memory Keeping Kit was the exact size of the alpha stamp found in the Wander Modern Memory Keeping Kit. I selected the three words explore, dream, and discover from my pre-selected quote to create a title for my layout. In this layout, I used several stickers, mostly the stickers from the Wander Memory Keeping Sticker Kit, as they have so many beautiful patterns that I wanted to bring to life.

I really like how the patterns are on a smaller scale which won’t overpower my photo which is fairly small. I trimmed some more pattern papers to add some additional layers on the right-hand side, and to serve as a mat for my selfie.

Creating a monthly reflection, layout like this one is an awesome way to document you and your story for that particular month. I think we often shy away from a travel kit especially if we don’t have any special vacations planned in the months ahead but there is still tons of potential to create and document your special story.
