Memory Keeping: Uncomplicated | Supplies List & Getting Started

Supplies List & Getting Started
There are two main components that you will need for this class.
First, choose a vessel. By vessel, I mean what you will house your memory keeping in. As you will see, I have used my Cocoa Daisy SimpleDori. You can choose whatever you like as this class will work in any format. A Happy Planner, Pocket Pages, Mini Album, or Day Planner to name a few. I choose the SimpleDori and love it for its themed patterned pages and the variety of journaling page options. It is perfect and can be adapted however you like! Here is the product description from the website:
The Standard-sized Dori has the same theme as each monthly inserts but is geared more toward journaling and memory keeping. With blank, lined, dot grid, and patterned sections on the pages we’ve made journaling or memory keeping in your notebook super easy. We’ve taken the guesswork out of designing your pages; all you need to do is add photos and journaling.
The SimpleDori comes with a stapled spine. I like to remove the staples, cut my Dori down the centre, and use rings to keep the pages together. This is again a personal choice as I like to cram my pages full. This will allow me to add more pages if I wish. I also enjoy decorating the front cover.
The second all-important component to help with your process is to download and print the

This prompt list is KEY in kick-starting your memory keeping. You can use one prompt a day, a week, or however often you like. The focus is to keep it simple and have fun which makes it very adaptable. A fun method I highly recommend in trying, especially if you are a beginner looking for a place to start, is to use the prompt list as a photo a day system. Choose your prompt, take a photo of your interpretation, and add to the pages of your SimpleDori. This gives you a lot of creative freedom and the result is a fun-filled album of memories.
I printed the gorgeous prompt list on my home printer and used my Cameo to cut each prompt out, but you can also fussy cut these yourself. This prompt list can be adapted to journal about life currently and if journaling isn’t your style, that’s ok too. A photo can often speak a thousand words.
The prompt list is not only your ‘topic’ list, but it has also been designed to add as a decorative title to your pages.
Once your prompt list is printed, cut and ready, it’s time to fill those pages! I want to take some time showing you some page examples and how I have used the prompt list, as well as provide you with a suggestion of how else you could interpret each prompt. I have used the list over the period of a month and with 18 prompts this was easily done. I found myself creating a page every few days.
Please note: You can use ANY Cocoa Daisy product or your own supplies to complete this class. The prompts were designed to be neutral in order to coordinated with most products out there.
