May Planner Setup with the Tulip Time Printables

May Planner Setup with the Tulip Time Printables
Hey Planner Friends! Rachel here, and I am sharing a full planner setup using just the Cocoa Daisy Printables! Life Happens- the mail gets delayed, or you travel one place, and your "box of happy" is awaiting you back home (my situation!), which means you and your kit cannot be together. While sad, there is no need to despair! Cocoa Daisy provides several printables that coordinate with each month's kit. This is not only incredibly generous, but it is also so practical!. As my husband and I "shelter in place" at his family farm in Iowa (thousands of miles away from our home in Miami) I still get to see the "Tulip Time" kit on my planner pages and in my planner setup!

I used the printables to set up my "Discbound Dori" Wellness Planner. You can see the full setup process on my You Channel here. I walk through the printables in the video, so make sure to check it out! As you can see, the pockets of my planner look full and beautiful with the printable elements. To secure everything in place, I adhered the fussy cut elements to the pieces of the paper.

How gorgeous is this cover?! I was so excited to discover this new printable, made available by Jennifer! It made the most perfect cover for my insert. The circle element was trimmed from the last page of the free printables. It is simple, but also beautiful! I normally use the papers from the various kits to make page markers, but since I didn't have my kit, I simply used one of the printable papers, folded it, punched it and added the tab to the top. Easy peasy!

Creating my Dori from scratch meant I could choose which pages to include or not. One page I knew I wanted to create was my wellness tracker. I got a little off track with my wellness in April, so I'm hoping to jump back in for May. The key for me is accountability, so having a place to document what I am doing (and not doing!) is quite motivating! As I mentioned in my setup video, I trimmed several printable elements into diamond shapes. I decided to use those diamonds to build a pattern on this spread and I love how it turned out! Once your printables are printed, don't be afraid to cut different shapes from the designs, I even used the scraps as washi along the top and bottom of the pages! I also ripped the edges around the quote card to make it look like it blended into the page. Head to my YouTube channel to see a process video of the pages coming together!

I hope you enjoyed my planner setup using the printables. Be sure to check my Instagram to see more pages I create throughout the month. Until next time!
