Designing on the Diagonal
Hello, friends! For today’s post, we asked our Memory Keeping Team to design a layout with a diagonal orientation. We frequently see center, right and left aligned spreads, but today, we are mixing it up!...
Sorry, looks like we don't have enough of this product.
You cannot mix preorders with regular products
I was a little concerned about the covers becoming bent, so I laminated them after I'd first punched them - they feel really solid and sturdy now.
I love using pocket cards in my planner and journal, and so I wanted to continue with this for May too. Here's one of my favourites - that quote is just spot on!
There isn't a lot of planning real estate on the personal size monthly view - so to save rewriting recurring events I used another pocket card to record what's happening every day of the week.
I love the combination of pretty and functional!
Of course Simon had to be featured in my planner - I washi taped his clip to the back of my planner to make sure he's not going anywhere. How cute does that look??
I use the blank notes pages in between the weekly views to write my to do lists, track habits and more. I love layering different elements to make the page really visually appealing.
Finally, I put all the daily pages together at the back. I punched the acetate washi card from the Main Planner Kit to make into a page marker, and it fits some sticky notes on perfectly too.
Thanks for reading - I hope you have a lovely May, and if you're trying something new, why not share it over on the Cocoa Daisy Fan Page on Facebook?
