March Setup and First Week with Daisy Weeks Booklet

March Setup and First Week with Daisy Weeks Booklet

Hey Planner Friends! It's Rachel here, and I am sharing my setup and the first full week of March in my Daisy Weeks Booklet, using the March Orchard Path Kits. I am using a personal size dash sleeve to protect my booklet and to add a little more decoration. For the front dashboard, I trimmed down one of the papers from the Traveler's Notebook Memory Keeping KIt.for the background and added the Pocket Card from the Planner Add-on Kit. For embellishments, I added some cardstock stickers and enamel dots.

Pocket Cards are perfect embellishments for dashboards, as shown here. Fun fact - the cover for my booklet is actually one of the A5 Printables that are free to download!

It's still pretty early in the month, so my monthly view is still pretty bare bones. But I like to add the event that I know (like my birthday on the 15th!) and a few embellishments. This month, I decided to use the personal dashboards as a page marker for my monthly view. I added a few of the sticky notes, including a sticky note from a previous kit that matched perfectly. This is something I truly love about the Cocoa Daisy Kits. So many of the colors and patterns repeat, which means you can pull kit items from your stash to use again and again!

Here is my first weekly spread for March. I went a little different with the layout, in part because I had added a tab at the top of the page that I did not want to interfere with the columns. It was a happy accident because I love how this spread turned out with the weekly columns lower on the page. This gave me an opportunity to decorate and add a to-do list at the top of the page.

To make the date stickers work for this layout, I trimmed them in half and place the day of the week and date next to each other, instead of the original stacked format of the sticker. This is a great example of making stickers work, and changing them when you need to!

I don't have decorative boxes that are formatted for this layout, so I made some with the washi strips from the Daisy Weeks Stickers sheet. I love the added embellishment it provides to Wednesday and Thursday. In the past, I have used the packaging to make a page market for this planner. This time, I decided to use the acetate from the Classified Planner Kit. I love that I can see those beautiful flowers, while still being able to view my week's events. To make this page marker, I used clear packing tape and adhered the top of the acetate to the top of the cardboard packaging. I then added a tab to the top and some paper to the bottom ( to help weigh the page marker down). The back of the page marker is another great place to add sticky notes! Something I love about the Daisy Weeks Bookley is the neutral weekly layout that you can completely change each week. As you can see, I will be planning with a different weekly layout for the whole month of March. I have a process video up on my YouTube Channel, sharing how I set up these weekly layouts. Thanks for stopping by for my March planner setup and weekly layout. Make sure to follow me on Instagram to see how the rest of March turns out in this planner. Until next time!
