Focus on Circles with Orchard Path
Happy Friday!
Our theme today is circles, and our design team has two lovely layouts to share featuring the Orchard Path Traveler's Notebook and Pocket Memory Keeping kits. Circles are a great way to support your story with simple scrapbooking supplies in a visual way. Casie created a design in her Happy Planner with a cluster of circles across her pages. Her example is an artistic way to use your patterned paper to add texture and interest to your layout. Melina is sharing a 12x12 design with a visual triangle of circles that lead us around her page, and the circles fill in negative space too. Let's begin by taking a closer look at Melina's layout.
"I love the color theme this month! So springy, yet soft and muted too. The cards in the Pocket Memory Keeping kit are so gorgeous they need no adornment! You can dress them up with a couple of die cuts or let them stand alone."
"I love epoxy dots, and these sparkly little gems are just what you need to finish off your pages."

Now let's see what Casie designed in her Happy Planner. "For this layout, I used repeating circles as a decorative element. I took a poll on Instagram, but as you can hear in the video, the cascading circle design won me over even before I checked all the votes. I love the way the circles appear to be falling down the pages."
"I started with large circles and filled in the open spaces with smaller circles. I completed the design by adding the enamel dots for texture and sparkle. I like how the circles provide pops of color and allow enough room to document the memories and add photos."
"Once I saw that my IG followers voted more for an across the middle design, I created another circle layout to use for next week. I also added a few circle stickers from the memory keeping sticker kit. I hope these designs inspire you to create a similar circle layout using this lovely spring floral kit. Happy creating friends!"
