Lovely Leftovers: Dandelion Wishes

Lovely Leftovers: Dandelion Wishes
Hello, friends! The Cocoa Daisy Kits are so full of goodies that it is likely you'll have a few lovely leftovers. Rather than getting rid of them, let's use them!

Carol Weatherspoon: Making Cards with Leftovers

Today, it's all about leftovers! As a Cocoa Daisy fan, you already know that all of their kits come chock full of beautiful papers and embellishments. Well, what do you do when you still have some lovely leftovers from your kits? You make stuff!

My first project is something that is near and dear to my heart, a card! The colors from the Dandelion Wishes Collectionare just so pretty! The blue, yellow, and green hues on this patterned paper are dreamy! I matted the patterned paper against a dark gray cardstock to really help it stand out. Next, I used up some extra butterfly die cuts from the Dandelion Wishes Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kitand stacked them onto that awesome photo strip.

I also added a small chipboard piece and another die cut at the top of the card just for a little extra pizazz!

Lastly, for the sentiment, I used a leftover rub-on and added it to the lower right-hand side of my card. This would be a great card to give to a friend that may be going through a rough patch.

For my next project, I got a little messy! I grabbed a piece of canvas I had in my stash and took out some acrylic paint and went to work on my canvas. Next. I adhered a card from the Dandelion Wishes Travelers Notebook Memory Keeping Kit to the center of my canvas. I absolutely LOVE that sentiment. I plan to display this canvas proudly in my craft room!
