I used three different scrapbook papers from the Marigold & Honey Deluxe Journaling Kit to create my background. I love that with each theme we get a variety of papers to use together. I really loved the color scheme of this month!

 

 

 

I used my Polaroid Instax camera to print off three photos from the day. It was my birthday, and I slowed down a bit during the day and noticed things like the sign that says "you deserve flowers today," and I love capturing these little moments in my journal. Some of my favorite journal pages are when I really slow down and observe the world around me. I used the paper piece that said "Pieces of today" because it felt really fitting for what I was going for.

 

 

 

I used this file/tab looking paper to write a bit about the day, then glued it down to make it look like it was coming out of the folder. And of course, when I'm done with every spread I create, I always go back through and add some embellishments such as washi tape and stickers. I loved all the die-cut sticker options from the  Marigold & Honey Deluxe Journaling Kit and used a few to add some more visuals.
