Happy Friday friends!
Today on the blog we are highlighting Cocoa Daisy stamps and their amazing versatility! We have three designs to share and they are all using stamps from the Orchard Path kits. Let’s begin with Kristine’s stamping ideas for the Big Happy Planner.
“The open decorative stamps in this month’s Pocket Memory Keeping Kit made me think of picture frames, so I created my own gallery wall with them for a layout in my Happy Planner.”
“I used bits of leftover papers from the memory keeping and planner kits, and used the word and leaf stamps (also in the stamp set) to fill them in.”
“For my journaling, I adhered grid paper across the entire top row on both pages and used the arrow stamp to separate the days. I am looking forward to seeing these pages complete with photos and text!”
Kristine has many elegant and creative ideas for her memory keeping planner. We enjoy seeing them each month and the ideas they bring to mind for our memory keeping projects. Next we have a TN design from Korrie-ann.
“There is a few blank pages in this month's Simple Dori notebook which gave me the perfect reason to make my own background using the stamps from the Orchard Path Memory Keeping and Pocket kits.”
“I added the colour using my watercolour paints, with a piece of paper to cover the left page to keep this side blank when splatting the paint.”
“For the left side I used a couple of the pocket cards from the Pocket Memory Keeping kit to layer my photo and the label die cut was perfect to pop out below my photo. I then added the flower die cuts to the corners and finished it off my title Captured the moment.”
Korrie-ann’s design shows the versatility of our kits and a clear-cut way to make the pages in your Simple Dori TN unique to you and your stories. Her stamped background is full of movement and draws us through the layout. It’s simply lovely! Our final design is by DT member Evy with the Orchard Path Simple Dori.
“As you know I enjoy creating backgrounds with stamps and even this month I couldn't resist! As soon as I saw these bible shaped stamps in the memory keeping travelers notebook kit, I thought of this background.”
“I simply stamped in black ink and then created a layout playing with the bubbles-shaped die-cuts. On the left page I inserted a photo collage and created a title with the alphabet stickers.”
“On the right in the bubbles I stamped the date, wrote the caption and inserted some diecuts and stickers.”
Evy’s pattern on pattern design is eye catching. Stamping her background with black ink allows the speech bubble die cuts to stand out. Our kit stamps provide endless possibilities for creating your own patterns and backgrounds just like the designs we have shared today.
We’d love to see what you are creating with our kit stamps. Please tag @cocoa_daisy on social media to share your stamp party with us. We also have a private Facebook group where you can share your stories and layouts too.
Happy Weekend!
