Inklings Scrapbooking with the Simple Daisy Notebook

Hello, friends!

Check out the fun spread, inspired by the pages of the Inklings Simple Daisy Notebook!

Hi there! It’s Nathalie with you today to share with you a new Inklings Simple Daisy Notebook featuring the fun Inklings Scrapbooking Kit  I am in love with this collection (it is probably one of my favorites ever) and wanted to use the artsy background to tell an everyday story that needs all the colors and the mess in it. Here is what I created with the kit in my notebook.

I loved the mixed media page on the right of the page.  So, I wanted to match the feel on the opposite side of the spread so that it balances it all.   My choice was to use some of the rub-ons in the Inklings Scrapbooking Kit and added to the top left corner of the page, followed by a few of the paint splatter designs cascading down the page.

I added my photo below the large rub on the top left of the page and added my journaling below it.  I added just a few extra embellishments from the die cuts and chipboard that are included in the Inklings Scrapbooking Kit and ended the page by partially stamping the ink splatter design in the kit’s stamp around the page.

For my title journaling page, it was all about simplicity.  I loved the small notebook page design at the bottom right corner of the page.  I added a few extras of the Inklings Scrapbook kit to the page to make it look as if was written on it.  Then it was all about creating a title using the fun Sticker Album – I love this sticker album -.

I used the pencil design in the Inklings Scrapbooking Kit stamp and black ink to highlight my title.  I used the ink pad to create a fading image (it is all about the pressure you apply when pouncing the stamp on the ink pad).  A few of the splatter images were also stamped to tie the look of the two sides of the spread. I hope this has inspired you to get creative in your Inklings Simple Daisy Notebook with your Inklings Scrapbooking Kit.  Make sure you share what you are creating with us.
