March is here and turning the page in our planner using the Bookish Collection. Here are a few ways to utilize the planner kits and stickers from this collection.
If you are new to creative planning you might be a little unsure of what to include in your planner setup. You may be wondering how to organize your day-to-day or how do I make your planner look cute so you actually enjoy using it. I'm here to help, so let's get into it!
Planner setups can be as simple or as detailed as you like!
Here are my top 4 things to consider including in your next planner setup.
Monthly Goals
Mental Health & Wellness
Functional (but cute) Storage
Sparkle & Joy, making it your own!
Before we jump in, I want to note that I have punched my Bookish b6 planner inserts for a disc-bound system as I really like a disc system for a catch-all planner set up so I can add and remove things as the month goes along!
Monthly Goals
I set up my planner to include my monthly goal section at the front of my planner, so I don’t lose sight of my goals. For this month’s goals, I used the sticky notes from Bookish Classified Planner Kitto set a goal for four separate categories.
I sprinkled in some stickers to add a decorative touch; this is a creative planner set up after all!
Mental Health & Wellness Tracking
My mental health and wellness are significant parts of my life so it’s an important section for me to include each month within my b6 planner setup. This month I am using the striped color pages to jot down my energy flows throughout the day. I have used the tracker stamp from the Bookish Planner Add-On Kit which will help track the overall vibe of the week on the monthly calendar. I think this is going to give me an excellent summary of my mental health for the month of March.
Add Pockets!
Even if you work from home full time like me, having a designated storage area like a pocket is great to be able to have a selection of your planner supplies to be able to work at your kitchen table or in the living room while watching TV. The decorative adhesive pockets from the Bookish Classified Planner Kit are a great way to store my sticker favorites!
Make it your own: Add in your favorites from the collection!
Adding your own personal touch to your planner setup is one of the best parts of setting up your planner each month. It really gives you the opportunity to look at the collection as a whole and pick your favorite items you want to put on center stage.
For this month’s Bookish Collection I really loved the patterned tag patterned paper and the die cuts with the planners and coffee mugs from the Bookish Planner Kit so I used them to decorate the front cover of my planner.
Another way you can personalize your planner is by using your Cocoa Daisy inserts in new ways each month. For March, I am using the weekly striped pages for mental health and mood tracking but in the past, I have used these same pages for gardening notes, memory-keeping tracking, and project management breakdowns. I recommend giving this a go if you have done a few planner setups and are ready to try something new and different outside of the traditional concepts.
I hope that you will be able to try one or all four of these Planner Set Up must-haves in your next planner setup! With Cocoa Daisy’s curated collections you really can’t go wrong with mixing and matching products as it was designed to all work together! So don’t stress too much about the process, it’s all part of the fun!
