Hello crafty friends! It’s Tai, and I have a SimpleDaisy Notebook layout for you today. The Where the Sea Dreams SimpleDaisy Notebook pages are amazing, and I love so many of the patterned papers in the booklet. For my layout, I selected a beautiful horizontal layered paper that reminds me of sand. The neutral color palette will work for so many stories and photos.

 

  

I selected a recent photo of enjoying a cup of coffee with pastry at a local coffee shop and journaling. It was a moment of joy. The photo is printed at 3x4 in size, and I used one of the file folders included in the scrapbooking kit for the mat. The contrast works well from the photo to the patterned paper. A few embellishments from the die-cut pack and light stamping.

 

 

My journaling could have been straightforward about this enjoyable moment, but instead, I went with an entire list of ‘glimmers.’ To notice all the little moments of joy in my day. I layered a watercoloring looking rub-ons from the Where the Sea Dreams Scrapbook Kit and placed the word ‘Glimmers’ on top with the puffy alphas. The gray-blue color of these alphas is great with the file folder mat on the opposite side of the page.

 

 

Included in the Where the Sea Dreams Stamp Set was this small anchor that I used as a repeat element between each glimmer. It is staggered throughout my journaling area. I used a gray inked pen to write with. I enjoy the way this page turned out and may keep it in mind as a weekly check-in. It is a powerful habit to have gratitude each day.
