Carol used the frames to highlight photographs in her journal.
"Frames really were the springboard for what I am now calling my hodgepodge journal. I used the frames in the Doodles and Dashes Modern Memory Keeping Kit to showcase different photos with great significance in my life currently. The spread of frames and embellishments goes across an a5 journal making the possibilities for mixing mediums sort of endless.
You’ll notice I used the washi from the Modern Memory Keeping Kitto be a focal horizontal line, drawing the eye from one side of the page to another. Rub-ons from the Modern Memory Keeping Kitseemed the perfect element to place throughout the pages in an effort to anchor the frames and photos.
I love how it marks the page with a bit of whimsy. Are y’all using the frames traditionally with photos behind or adding in words? I love seeing all the creativity that comes from using a particular element in the memory-keeping kits."
Traci inspires us with her unique way to utilize the frames.
"I can't be the only one that struggles a little with frames when it comes to scrapbooking. Oftentimes, they're a bit on the smaller side and I am a LARGE photo scrapper. But I really wanted to play with all the fantastic frames in the. Doodles & Dashes Collection, so I thought outside the box a little and decided to use the frames as a base for a collage!
I used 6 frames (on top of the hanging frame paper) to create boxes in the background and after popping my two photos up on pop dots to give them some height, I then created a collage around them using the frames as "bases" for my embellishments.
To really go all-in on the frame usage, I topped the whole thing off with some cute heart polaroid frames from the rub ons! Make sure to check out my process video to watch this spread come together."

Tanti loves embellishing her planner and journal with frames.
"I always love using frames for my papercraft projects. They are so fun to use. You can use them not only to frame your photos but also as decoration for your planner and journal spread.
I also used one of them to decorate my first September week spread. They are so pretty together with all the printable flower die cuts and flower stickers from the Doodles & Dashes Collection.
There are some patterned papers with the mini frames print in the Modern Memory Keeping Kit. I fussy cut a small part of it and glued it on my planner spread. I decorated the mini frames using rub ons from the same kit and stickers from the Doodles & Dashes Classified: Planner Kit.
I added a frame tip in between the planner pages, just to add a pretty interactive accent. I die cut two Polaroid frames using my cutting dies. I stuck one on the front side of the vellum from the Classified: Planner Kit and I stuck the other one on the backside of the vellum.
I left a bit of vellum on one side of the frame so that I can attach it using washi tape onto the page without covering the frame."
