First off I decided to use an A5 size for February and if you know me A6 has pretty much been my jam the last few years. I have several things that I need to keep track of including a food diary and needed more room to write down alll the things. So my first project was a couple of pockets made from the A5 printable page. I printed off 4 of them and cut them so they are the same. I used a circle punch to punch out an indentation and then used the gorgeous floral Washi around three of the edges. One pocket I made a side load and the other a top load. These pockets are great for stickers, notes etc. I love how they turned out and I can even add some goals or art work to the front later on.
Next up I made a page marker using the cute bookmark that always comes in the printable. I layered it on top of the standard page printable, added some floral Washi to the side and then punched. I am going to use this as my February goals, get 'er done page marker. It cute and functional and that is always a plus in my book!
I always make my granddaughters Valentines day cards and I made a super simple one using an embossed card I had in my stash and the printables. I used the card page and cut the floral card along with a scrap of the hearts using a die I had in my stash to make the shape. I then cut out the "you & me" circle with a circle punch and adhered it to a slightly larger circle to mat. I add a scrap of pom pom trim and adhered it to the card base to finish. It's so pretty and one of the girls will be excited to get it!
Lastly I love making memory dex cards. They are small pieces of art work that I love looking back on. I printed out another of the A5 size printable and used two of the Memory Dex dies from my stash to cut out the shapes. I used a few of the florals that I fussy cut from the printables to add a bit of dimension to them. The stickers are from the new Daisy Add on sticker kit. Its my new favorite sticker kit! I love how these two Memory Dex cards turned out!
I hope this inspires you with the printables. I did a short YouTube video walking through the process of these projects and giving a bit more detail. Enjoy!
