Hello Cocoa Daisy Fans,
Our Tulip Time kits features many different butterfly options and we thought you might like to see how our design team is incorporating them in their layouts and planners. The free planner printable includes lots of beautiful butterflies that can be fussy cut and added to your memory keeping stories. These are in addition to the items in the memory keeping and planner kits. We have an absolutely gorgeous design from DT member Kristine to start us off today.
"I was so excited to start this layout - I had a vision in my head of what I wanted it to look like, and amazingly, it turned out just like I hoped!"
"This is the May 1-3 spread in my large format Happy Planner - since May starts on a Friday, I had Monday through Thursday on this spread to just play with decoration. I decided to layer some stenciling and then also add some butterflies from the free Planner Printables (printed at 100% and 75% for variety and depth) to create this band of butterfly motion across my page, and I love how it turned out."
"I used the blue washi from the Planner Add-On Kit to stay monochromatic and keep the focus on the butterflies."
"I have a short, 7-minute video to show how it all came together which you can view by clicking here."
Kristine's design is beautiful and flows easily across her planner pages. It's an uplifting and elegant start to May in her memory planner! Next, DT member Sabrina is sharing a lovely TN design.
"For this Cocoa Daisy project I pulled the bright colors from Tulip Time to create a travelers notebook spread all about these beautiful lilies that bloomed in my garden last year. The color scheme of orange, yellow and some red is one of my favorite color schemes to use in the warmer months."
"I used the Tulip Time Memory Keeping: Pocket Kit stamp set to do a butterfly scattering across the page on the left and the right side had a few additional butterflies. I also took a few butterfly stickers from the pocket memory keeping kit to add a different type of butterfly."
"Another thing I did with my butterfly scattering to make it more unique and have more visual interest; I added in several different stickers in my color scheme along the scattering line."
"Finally I added some sequins and a journaling card to the clear plastic pocket in the middle of the travelers notebook. I used some yellow sequins included in the Classified Kit and then some from my stash. I really liked how with the see-through pocket I was able to use a full journaling card front and back plus add in some sequins for extra detail."
"I just love how this TN project came together with the bright colors and all the butterflies. Hope this inspires you to document your garden adventures!"  Sabrina's stamped butterflies sweeping up her layout are super pretty, especially in the vibrant ink colors she chose. In fact there is quite a bit of stamping in this layout and we love the clear pocket of sequins with a journal card.
Butterflies represent life, endurance, and hope which are symbolic of this moment in world history. Incorporating butterflies in our memory keeping and planners is a great way to remind ourselves to hold on to hope. We'd love to see what you are making with our Tulip Time kits.
