Document Your Summer Playlist with Let's Scrapbook Kit + Pocket Cards!
Hello, friends!
Do you ever create scrapbook layouts that contain no photos? This is a fun way to document stories you might otherwise overlook, and it's super approachable in the 6x8 size.
Linda Jordan: Summer Playlist
For this photo-less spread, I was inspired by the 4x6 card in the Let's Go Pocket Card Add-On featuring this super cute cassette tape. I fussy cut the tape out and made it the centerpiece of my project, rather than a photo.
To create a fun retro background to go with my tape, I chose a colored cardstock from my stash in a complementary teal color and layered it with the transparency from the Let's Go Stationery Kit. Then I used some of the bold black page flags from the Let's Go Stationery Kit to create a fun border down the page. I added my title using a stamp from my stash + the teal alphas from the Let's Go Scrapbooking Kit. I am obsessed with the orange + teal + black color scheme!
On the right side of the spread, I used one of the ledger papers from the Let's Go Scrapbooking Kit to journal my current playlist. Then, I added the cassette tape rub-on to the bottom right corner to tie the two pages together and continue the retro music theme.
I finished off the spread by adding a few little details to the journaling page, including some rub-on music notes + a chipboard from the Let's Go Scrapbooking Kit. This spread came together super easily and, without photos, I was able to focus more on highlighting my story + the fun products in the Let’s Go Collection. Have you documented your summer playlist?
